Refined geothermobarometers are presented for cordierite granulites. The
refinement was achieved by using internally consistent thermodynamic
datasets. Improved calibrations have been demonstrated for a number of
granulite areas. Also, the usefulness of the improved geobarometer in
identifying decompression paths has been discussed.
