Theoretical spectra have been computed for the magnetic DA white dwarf BPM 25114 assuming a centered-dipole field distribution. The polar field strength is deduced to be about 36 million G. The observations suggest that the angle between the line of sight and the magnetic axis varies by perhaps 30 deg during a rotation period. Detailed comparison with H-alpha observations indicate more broadening than is predicted by the centered-dipole model. Strong variable wavelength-dependent circular (maximum about 8%) and linear (maximum about 4%) polarization are predicted for this star.
