The paper reports four-bandpass linear-polarization measurements for the flare star BY Dra. A chi-square test shows that the red polarization is intrinsically variable in the U parameter at a confidence level greater than 99%, but no statistically significant variation is detected in the Q parameter. It is found that the variability is not correlated with either rotational or Keplerian phase. The observations in the other three bandpasses (yellow, blue, ultraviolet) are used to suggest a polarization spectrum that climbs steeply toward shorter wavelengths.
