Preliminary results are reported for high-resolution interferometric observations of small-scale regions of strong neutral hydrogen emission within four concentrations of high-velocity clouds. The observations were made with the NRAO spectral-line interferometer at an antenna spacing of 100 meters, giving a fringe spacing of approximately 440 arcsec. The four certain detections are illustrated in graphs where the average observed fringe-visibility amplitude and phase are plotted as functions of radial velocity. A spherical Gaussian model is used to obtain estimates of the physical parameters of the cloud concentrations. It is concluded that the discovered regions of neutral hydrogen emission have diameters of about 5 arcmin, are characterized by substantial brightness temperatures and column densities, and may not be optically thin.
