The masses, surface areas, and alkali (K, Rb, and Li) contents of 61 indochinite meteorites are determined experimentally, and the results are subjected to statistical analysis. Six meteorites are found to have anomalously low alkali contents and excluded from the analysis; in the other 56, the correlations of mass to K, Rb, or Li content are found to be significant, but at a lower level than correlations among the alkalis or between alkali ratios and alkali abundances. It is inferred that incomplete mixing was more important in the formation of these meteorites than selective volatilization.
