Three H-alpha sources near the W51 complex have been detected optically. Radial velocities of these regions obtained by Fabry-Perot interferograms show the connection of these H-alpha regions with the radio complexes, although their positions are not identical. Optical detection of some other H109-alpha sources such as W48 and G 69.9 plus 1.5 is discussed. Photometric and spectroscopic observations of recently identified stars in H II regions, and radial velocities of 23 new H II regions, have been obtained for galactic longitudes of 20 to 115 deg. These optical results confirm the existence of another arm between 90 and 112 deg beyond the Perseus arm.
