The authors present the UV and optical spectrum of NGC 3393. This galaxy presents the opportunity to measure the reddening in several different ways using typical emission lines such as Ly α, He II and the Balmer lines with a good signal-noise ratio. The authors discuss the possible models to reproduce the fluxes observed supposing a two components model with an overabundance of nitrogen. Finally the overall continuum distribution from the far infrared to the UV is shown.
