The basic iterative method of observed one-hour echo rates applied directly without correction for radar response function as described by Šimek (1985) was extended to cover observations made at a number of stations. The method is demonstrated on the 1968 Quadrantid meteor shower observed at Ondřejov, Dushanbe, Ottawa, Obninsk and Kühlungsborn. The resulting 1968 Quadrantid single activity profile for echo durations ≥1 s is presented.
