The basic construction and essential theories of general demodulating processor used in the Lunar Project in China are introduced in this paper. Also, for some important design targets, such as the bit error rate, combination of polarization, fault tolerance for the synchronization and the length error of frames, the relevant test theories and methods are discussed, and the obtained results are analyzed. The work offers a reference for the acceptance of base-band equipments in satellite communications.
