Consideration is given to the numerical simulation of processes governing the formation of stratiform clouds in the presence of two condensing components. Calculations are carried out for a wide range of atmospheric parameter variations and are applied to conditions in the atmosphere of Jupiter. It is noted that the existence of high-temperature regions on Jupiter's surface can be explained by the presence of fractures in the upper ammonia layer through which radiation penetrates from lower orthotropically emitting heated levels.
