Loading coefficients for anomalous density waves situated on different levels in realistic models of Venus are calculated with consideration given to the asthenosphere. A combined analysis of topographic and nonequilibrium parts of the gravity field allowed the long-wave principal tangential stresses in the lithosphere and mantle to be obtained for zonal harmonics with n ranging from 2 to 8. The stresses in the Venusian lithosphere are approximately equal to 30 bars; in the lower mantle they can reach 45 bars while in the weakened upper mantle, they are of the order of only a few bars. This low tangential stress level in the crust and mantle of Venus suggests that the planetary interior is very hot. It is confirmed that Venus is aseismic.
