It is demonstrated that the abundances of the intermediate and light lanthanides in the Am star 32 Aqr are comparable in magnitude to those in the cool magnetic Ap stars Gamma Equ and 10 Aql. The similarity in the lanthanide abundances for these stars was anticipated from wavelength coincidence studies, which also suggested that the Nd/Sm ratio in Gamma Equ and 10 Aql are significantly different. Quantitative determinations support this suggestion, but truly low-noise material is necessary for its confirmation.
