Suggestions have been made that Galileo's observations of Neptune in
1612 - 1613 indicate that it was as much as 1 arcminute from its
predicted position. The author of this paper argues that Galileo's
drawing has been misinterpreted and that there is no justification of
the adoption of a 1 arcminute error.
