Two calculated solar cycles are compared with the real data to look for
non-random phase variations, which are found. These are used to estimate
the epochs of the next solar minimum and maximum as 1988.2±0.2
and 1991.8±0.2 respectively. It is also suggested that the
80-year radial oscillation may be weakly present in cycle length data.
