We have undertaken an archival Chandra study to investigate the AGN content of groups of galaxies. Our sample consists of 23 nearby groups with relatively long Chandra observations. Detected X-ray sources are matched to galaxies with known redshifts in NED to confirm group membership. While we generally find a couple of matches per group, we do not find a population of luminous AGN (>1041 ergs s-1) outside of the group center. However, we do detect central X-ray point sources in most of the groups, and in several cases we detect diffuse emission from group galaxies.
