I present the Millennium Run, the largest simulation of the concordance LCDM cosmogony ever carried out. Post-processing of MR data enables modelling of the formation and evolution of galaxies and their central supermassive black holes throughout a cubic region about 700 Mpc on a side. Results to date include: unexpected deviations of the dark matter clustering from standard theoretical models of structure growth; strong apparent effects of radio galaxies on the overall luminosity function of galaxies; a demonstration that baryon wiggles should be present but distorted in the spatial distribution of galaxies; ``anti-hierarchical" formation of the stellar populations of early-type galaxies; and the most precise measurement to date of the mass of our own Local Group of galaxies.
