A novel method for determining the size of the Galactic radio halo based on a statistical study of synchrotron fluctuations is presented. H II regions are used as distance indicators. A knowledge of radio-halo size will enhance the possibilities of the statistical method of investigating MHD turbulence based on a study of the correlation functions of diffuse synchrotron radiation.
