JHKLM photometry of three carbon stars, two symbiotic stars (UV Aur and
NQ Gem) and the unique object RW LMi (=CIT-6), which were observed in
1983-1999 is presented. The parameters of the carbon stars proper and
those of their dust envelopes are inferred.
