The Near Infrared Camera (NIRCam) for NASA's James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) is one of the four science instruments installed into the Integrated Science Instrument Module (ISIM). NIRCam has very stringent requirements on its optical quality, both to meet the observatory requirement of diffaction-limited images at 2 microns, and because NIRCam is used as the wavefront sensing system in JWST to determine the overall observatory wavefront error. NIRCam operates over the waveband 0.6 to 5.0 microns, must operate with low wavefront error at 37K, and must meet these requirements after a warm launch. This poster is an overview of the NIRCam instrument's optical hardware and performance.
