Pressure-broadening coefficients and temperature-dependence indices have been derived from self-broadening measurements for the R(0) and R(1) lines of deuterium hydride's 5-0 vibration-rotation band at 77-295 K. In addition to deriving a temperature-dependent index of 0.31 for these HD lines, a temperature dependence index which is not larger than the HD index is suggested for H2 vibrational-rotational line broadening. The small temperature-dependence index increases outer-planet D/H ratios in inverse proportion to its reduction of the derived H2 abundances.
