This paper gives a general solution of the 5-dimensional Bianchi-V type cosmological model for a perfect fluid with equation of state P = (γ-1) ρ and discusses two particular solutions for γ = 3/2 and γ = 1/2. Both solutions tend in time to the 5-dimensional model of isotropic expansion. The character of the singularity is also examined.
