We propose to obtain a 30 ksec ACIS-S observation of IGRJ00291+5934. With the proposed observation we can constrain the spectral components and check the observed relation between the strength of the power-law spectral component and quiescent source luminosity. From our short DDT observations right after the outburst we know that IGRJ00291+5934 is the brightest millisecond X-ray pulsar in quiescence. It also has a low N_H. This observation will show whether the short time variability observed right after the outburst is caused by residual accretion or whether the source (spectral) properties are different from right after the outburst. This and the level of variability are important to distinguish between the various models repsonsible for the quiescent emission.
