The Calibration Pipeline will be a critical module in the overall processing of the SNAP dataset. Its purpose is to process calibration data and provide the results to the SNAP Imaging and Spectroscopic Pipelines. It will need to be able to calibrate data from various SNAP programs: the SNAP DEEP Survey (15 sq deg; mlim=30.3 co-added), the SNAP Wide Survey (300 -- 1000 sq deg; mlim=27.2), a possible SNAP Panoramic Survey (7000 -- 10,000 sq deg; mlim=26.7), and a possible SNAP Guest Observer Program. The Calibration Pipeline will need to deal with both instrumental response data (e.g., bias frames, darks, flat fields) and astrophysical data (e.g., standard stars). Here, we discuss ideas for the calibration paradigm ("on-the-fly" and/or "data release"), for the pipeline requirements, and for the pipeline structure.
