We present high-resolution near to mid infrared data on the Giant H II Region RCW 106 and its associated Giant Molecular Cloud between l=332.5 to 333.8 and b=0.321 to -0.981. This data has been obtained as part of the GLIMPSE survey of the inner Galactic plane using the Spitzer Space Telescope IRAC camera. RCW 106 is a well-known massive star formation region, having been part of previous surveys including, but not limited to, MSX, IRAS and 2MASS. Our current survey adds data between 3.6 and 8.0 microns providing more complete Spectral Energy Distributions (SEDs). We will present results of SED fits using our 2-D YSO model grid and companion linear regression fitter (Robitaille et al. 2006) to model developing protostars. The grid and fitter will give statistical information about ongoing high mass star formation in the region. Preliminary results verify high mass star formation in diffuse sources associated with maser activity and GLIMPSE [4.5] micron images also reveal shocked molecular outflows associated with young stellar objects.
