A model of a sunspot at the phase of slow decay is suggested. It incorporates all the features of this process known to date: the linear phase of the decay, the slowdown of the decay in small spots, the 'moat' streaming around the spot, and the weak change in the magnetic field during the decay process. The corresponding numerical calculations are presented.
