An electromagnetic-mass model is developed to study the gravitational sources related to a static, spherically symmetric charged-dust interior. The Einstein-Maxwell field equations for this case are developed, and the resulting mass model survives only when the charge density is nonzero. Therefore, the charge is the primary source which generates the model, and the dust does not possess the character of normal matter.
