Several H II regions in the H166-alpha recombination line and the 1.4 GHz radio continuum are observed, and the results are interpreted in a discussion of emission associated with the nebulae and general emission. The observational techniques are set forth for both the line and the continuum, and the results from 19 source regions are listed. The regions are observed at several points as well as the central point, thereby permitting the calculation of precise physical parameters of the low-density ionized gas associated with the sources. The primary parameters discussed include electron temperature, density, and the emission measurement. Both observations are found to support the notion that the low-density ionized gas associated with the nebulae has physical conditions similar to those of the gas observed in directions free of discrete sources.
