Several types of cataclysmic events involving stellar-mass compact objects could result in the extreme, transient accretion onto a black hole widely believed to power gamma-ray bursts. We calculate the vertical structure of such thick accretion disks with a semi-analytical model which includes the effects of neutrino transport on the disk structure. We then postprocess these models with the neutrino transport module of GenASiS, a new supernova core collapse simulation code, to get a better picture of neutrino trapping, as well as energy deposition above the accretion disk.
