X-ray pulsars, being neutron stars or, possibly, black holes, are being
investigated intensively with ground-based and spaceborne telescopes
operating in the optical and x-radiation ranges. Valuable data on those
stars were obtained from the Astron station, specialized astronomy
satellite.
