It is proposed that the Local Bubble was caused by the SN that produced
the Geminga pulsar. The pulsar's 300,000-year age is used in conjunction
with the motion of a recently discovered optical counterpart to verify
that the SN was well-positioned for production of the Local Bubble if
the explosion occurred within 60 pc of the solar system.
