Some meteorites found in Turkey are described, noting that few have been found in Asia because most were melted down by past civilizations for making spear tips, knives, and swords. Attention is given to three samples found recently in Asia Minor. The oldest of these is about 2 million years old and weighs 25 kg. The second example is about 9 million years old and weighs 4 kg. Finally, the heaviest found in Anatolia weighing about 85 kg is described.
