Current sources of stellar photometric data are reviewed, and problems in the future use of such data are discussed. The compilation of catalogs for each photoelectric photometric system, providing all published measurements and homogeneous stellar data, at the Institut d'Astronomie de Lausanne is considered, and other photoelectric as well as UV and IR catalogs are indicated. Problems mentioned for the future include the dissemination of data from the various catalogs, made easier by the recording of the data on magnetic tapes, and the use of photometric data in astrometry.
