Stark Broadening: Spectral Lines

Stark widths of three Ar III spectral lines that belong to 4s'-4p' transition have been measured at the electron density of 3.5×1023m-3 and electron temperature of 38000K in a pulsed linear arc discharge in argon plasma. The measured values were compared to existing theoretical data calculated on the basis of various approaches.
