A program of radial velocity measurements of the open cluster NGC 6649 is reported, and it is asserted that the beat Cepheid V367 Sct is indeed a member of the cluster on the basis of these observations and previous evidence. Pulsation and evolution masses are calculated for V367 Sct, and it is shown that the beat Cepheid has a mass typical of a Population I Cepheid with no significant difference between pulsation and evolution masses.
