A sample of 70 optically selected QSOs from the Michigan Curtis Schmidt survey has been observed at wavelengths of 6 cm and 2.8 cm using the 100-m Effelsberg telescope. Ten sources stronger than 10 mJy have been detected and exhibit a flux density distribution strongly weighted towards higher values (greater than 200 mJy). The results are apparently inconsistent with the hypothesis that the radio/optical flux density ratio in QSOs is dominated by the effects of relativistic jets. They do, however, support the view that the ratio is bimodal and that among the detected (i.e., strong) radio sources the optical and radio luminosities are correlated.
