Numerical modeling is used to construct models of Jupiter and Saturn with a uniform helium distribution. The models' parameters - moments of inertia, gravitational moments, and rotation periods - are calculated. Under the assumption that these models characterize both planets at the beginning of their evolution, it is concluded that the period of rotation and gravitational moments of Jupiter have remained virtually unchanged during the planet's lifetime. In the case of Saturn, sedimentation of helium in the central zones of the planet led to some diminishing of the period of rotation (approximately 5-8 percent) and to markedly greater changes in the gravitational moments.
