To search for angular fluctuations in the temperature of the cosmic background radiation, a high-declination blank fields was observed with the IRAM interferometer at a wavelength of 3.4 mm. The synthesized beam was 9 x 10 arcsec and the field of view 55 arcsec in diameter. At 95-percent confidence, the upper limit to any fluctuations in the image at this resolution is less than 900,000.
