Universe: Elementary Particles, Cosmic Microwave Background

By considering particles that obey a discrete-time difference amended Schrödinger equation the author discusses the statistical properties of a system of such particles within the classical domain of low occupation numbers of the quantum states. The analysis demonstrates that the equation of state and the entropy of an ensemble of such particles would alter the cosmological evolution of the Universe during the early stages of evolution and also leave signatures of discrete-time effects in the cosmic microwave background.
