Hot post-AGB stars in globular clusters typically exhibit Fe abundances considerably lower than the cluster mean. This anomaly may reflect selective condensation of metals onto dust grains at the end of the AGB phase, a mechanism first suggested for cooler post-AGB stars with peculiar Fe abundances. To investigate this phenomenon, we have observed several UV-bright stars in globular clusters with FUSE, the Far Ultraviolet Spectroscopic Explorer. In this poster, we present first results for the post-AGB star ZNG 1 in M5 (NGC 5904). Previous studies have shown the star to have an effective temperature of about 41,000 K and a surface gravity of log g = 4.5. Using the TLUSTY and SYNSPEC routines of Ivan Hubeny, we construct a set of non-LTE stellar atmosphere models and synthetic spectra, with which we derive the star's photospheric parameters and abundances. We present our results and discuss their implications for AGB and post-AGB stellar evolution. This research is supported by NASA grant NAG5-8962.
