Images of the Galactic Center region taken with QUIRC+Hokupa'a on Gemini North were taken as part of the "demonstration science" effort during July and August 2000. Images in both H and K' filters were obtained of an area starting approximately at IRS16/Sgr A* and extending to roughly 70" to the north-east. The images typically have FWHM of about 0.15" and total exposure times of roughly 600 seconds. Good photometry is generally possible for stars as faint as K' 18 mag. The images are some of the best and deepest images of the Galactic Center region ever taken. The combination of good sensitivity, excellent image quality, and reasonably large observed field should allow derivation of the stellar luminosity function down to very faint magnitudes.
