A sample of both low and high excitation planetary nebulae were observed with the Far Ultraviolet Spectroscopic Explorer (FUSE) satellite. An attempt is made to constrain the stellar and nebular properties of these objects by analyzing the central star's far UV energy distribution, stellar wind, and abundances. Nebular emission is present in He II, C III, N II, N III, S III, S IV in the high excitation nebulae. Carbon, nitrogen and oxygen abundances are analyzed. Stellar wind terminal velocities are determined and compared. Interstellar molecular hyrogen is present in all objects observed, but in some objects is also nebular in origin. This work is based on data obtained for the FUSE Team Guaranteed Time by the NASA-CNES-CSA FUSE mission operated for NASA by the Johns Hopkins University.
