The production of positrons by the Coulomb field of heavy nuclei in a super-strong magnetic field is considered. It is shown that, in fields having a certain induction, positrons are produced in the field of a nucleus whose charge exceeds the critical charge; the number of positrons is equal to the charge of the nucleus and their polarization is along the vector B. In addition, a vacuum electron shell of low magnetic moment is formed.
