Topics discussed at a one week workshop at the Institute of Theoretical Physics in Santa Barbara are reviewed. Big Bang modelling was considered, including the Hubble flow, the 3 K cosmic microwave background, the abundance of D and He-4, and the singularity theorems of Hawking and Penrose. Attention was given to elementary particles and interactions, particularly the five known and possible sixth quark, gauge theory, color fields, and grand unification theories. Presentations were made on primoridal nucleosynthesis, noting that nucleons alone cannot close the universe, and also baryosynthesis, galaxy formation, relics from the Big Bang, and phase transitions, especially spontaneous symmetry breaking. Finally, problems fundamental to both cosmology and particle physics were outlined.
