Recent work performed at various Canadian universities in the various branches of the field of theoretical astrophysics is reviewed. Studies have concerned the formation of the solar system, solar mass loss and the place of mass loss in stellar evolution, the role of diffusion in determining the abundance properties of white dwarfs and peculiar stars, galactic structure particularly as it related to gravitational lenses, and models of the Big Bang including primordial black holes.
