The problem of the translational-rotational motion of an invariant solid body in a central Newtonian gravitational field is considered. The general form of the expansion of the force function is established, and its most notable properties are described. The so-called regular motions are studied, in which the center of mass of the body describes a circular Keplerian orbit, whereas the body itself preserves an invariant orientation with respect to this orbit. It is shown that only a body with dynamic axial symmetry can exhibit such motions. Three types of steady motions are distinguished; the intermediary cases are considered.
