Very Long Baseline Array images are presented of the inner arcsecond of the radio jet in the nearby radio galaxy, Virgo A (3C274), at wavelengths of lambda lambda92 ,50cm. A continuous radio jet with multiple components is seen out to some 0.5 arcseconds from the core. Knot D, at ~ 3 arcseconds from the core is also detected in the longer wavelength image. Spectral information for the core and the VLBI-scale knots are derived and the implications for X-ray emission are examined.
