The following two papers, summarizing scientific results from the NIXT
rocket program, are presented: (1) 'The Solar X-ray Corona,' - an
introduction to the physics of the solar corona, with a major portion
concerning a summary of results from the series of NIXT sounding rocket
flights; and (2) 'Difficulties in Observing Coronal Structure.'
