High-redshift QSOs (z>5.3) are crucial to understanding the early Universe. We propose to spectroscopically identify four candidates selected from field 2 of the Deep Lens Survey. This field has 4 sq° of BVRz' imaging, complete to R_AB=27.3, z'_AB=24.5, combined with 120 sec Spitzer IRAC 4-band imaging of the same area. These candidates have been selected to have very red R-z'>2.3 and Spitzer 3.6(mu) m-4.5(mu) m>0.3, significantly redder than the cool dwarf population, criteria based on the empirical limits from the AGES survey QSOs. Spectroscopy will definitively identify these objects, and give us information about their redshifts, the state of the intergalactic medium along multiple closely-spaced lines of sight, and the high-z luminosity function for faint QSOs.
