EGRET on board the Compton Gamma-Ray Observatory detected 271 high energy gamma-ray sources above 100 MeV [1], presumably not associated with our galaxy that may be AGNs. The poor spatial resolution of EGRET relies on the observational photometric and spectroscopic identification of AGNs and Blazars (FSRQs and BL Lac objects) that may be responsible for high energy emission. Out of the 271 EGRET-detected objects, about 130 remain unidentified. Based on their similarities with BL lacs in their broad band multi-wavelength properties, 13 sources were selected among the unidentified EGRET population for further study. The first part of this project aims to identify the nature and variability of these selected objects (presumably blazars) through multi-wavelength observations while the second part will have to model their multi- wavelength emission from jets and accretion discs. The present observing proposal aims to determine the redshift and investigate on the optical emission lines of the 2 of selected sources, which are observable during the running period 2009A.
