The SINGS Legacy project is providing a physically unbiased collection of spatially resolved 5-40μm spectra in a large sample of nearby galaxies, which can be used to capture the full range of mid-infrared spectral variability, both among galaxies, and on kiloparsec scales within galaxies. We will examine the variations in the shape and inter-feature strength ratios of the mid-infrared PAH spectrum, and discuss the impact these variations have on several photometric measures applied to high-z samples.
